I’m a beloved daughter of God – something I’m living into and internalizing more each day, as I learn to receive God’s unconditional love and grace. I’m a pastor – a declaration that humbles me every time I make it, and a calling that I feel unworthy and privileged to have received. To be more specific I’m a Provisional Elder in the United Methodist Church, Florida conference, and an Associate Minister at Trinity United Methodist Church in Gainesville, FL.
I’m Puerto Rican but have lived in Florida since the third grade. I’m a Millenial. I absolutely love my family, music, singing, musicals, coffee, a good book, watching movies, my pets, anything NYC related, the Wesley brothers (John and Charles), Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Brennan Manning, Henri Nouwen, Mother Theresa, good-smelling candles, and mission work, among other things.
Most importantly I love God. I’m laying the foundation for my life; learning a lot about myself and life, something I hope never changes. Trying to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with my God (cf Micah 6:8).
Thanks for contemplating with me-
